Pulse of The Day: November 3, 2020

Hello! I am mixing up my first post and today's pulse.

A little about myself: I am an independent writer and artist with a book to my credit. I have been doing this for the past 4.5 years and have been deeply dedicated to the art of self reflection in the world and how that plays out in seeking justice, healing, and empowerment for the individual at a systemic level. My work for the past 7 years has been on researching the psychology of systemic disempowerment.

While working with writing and art in the space, I discovered the art of tarot card reading which, before 2019, I believed to be the tool of the insincere fraud. How I came into it and how it blew my mind to realise this was something I could do and it was real, is a story for another time, perhaps if you write to me, I may indulge you with it. But, whether you believe in tarot and the metaphysical or not, I hope that you will get something from this stack where everyday, I will pull out one card with a message for the theme, mood or as I call it here, The Pulse of The Day. Enjoy!

The Chariot is symbolic of movement. Determined, focused and resolute movement. Its an interesting card cause astrologically speaking, the planet Mercury, symbolic of communications and interpersonal relationality stations direct. What does that mean? That means that any communications that were held up, causing confusion and misunderstandings, any messages that just wouldn't get delivered, they all find support for movement today.

Nope this doesn't mean that you need Mercury to be direct to function. However, the Chariot showing up with Mercury going direct (along with elections in the the USA) is symbolic of movement in areas that have seen a period of review, revision and hopefully resolution.

Today's pulse is about balanced communication. Remember, determination and assertion does not have to be tactless or oppressive. In key negotiations that are moving towards resolutions, pause to reflect and ensure you have covered the ground, before laying your cards on the table.

Until tomorrow!

I am a writer, artist and tarot reader using all of these mediums to help integrate the human being's internal and external worlds. My hope through this stack is to help leave one thought of hope daily for my readers.
