Pulse of the Day (10.11.2020): The Pause Before You Leap

Welcome back to The Daily Pulse!

There are two broad themes that I pick up for today's pulse with this card today. Maybe one part may resonate with you and the other won't. Take it with a grain of salt.

The first one spoke to me of living in the mind and acting from a place of well designed strategy. Sometimes, when we feel we have planned very well living in our heads the full time to work towards something, when it comes to execute the plans, there comes through a sense of urgent passion or even a slight irreverence for the necessary finesse that the strategy deems because of our need to do it quick, to finally take action after a long phase of stillness. There is no right or wrong but if you are starting out on a long delayed project, or moving into a new home after a long delay due to the pandemic or something else, make sure to not rush into the action. Instead, do it with the grace and finesse that it may require, so that you don't have to go back to edit, correct, patch up any mistakes the rush may cause you to make.

The second one that I feel more strongly is the pause right before pushing the proverbial red button. What is that pause right before you leap into the new? Is it a wish, a prayer for the new endeavour to go well? Or is it fear and anxiety coming from a bag of 'what-ifs'? Or is it a last glance to the old, before you move ahead with a sense of confidence? Whatever may be your reason to pause when taking action, make sure to use that to tap into the reasons why you have chosen this new direction. That'll not only strengthen your resolve, but it may help you do that one final check to ensure all papers are together or even if the action needs to be taken at a later date.

Until tomorrow!
